The Meaning behind The Miracle of the Sun

Related image

While reading in the Volumes I came across one which pointedly reminded me of the Great Miracle of the Sun in Fatima and the nearly daily miracles of the Sun which continue in Medjugorje.  It occurred to me that in all this time, in all these recounts of these events no one has asked the question what was the point of the miracle, what was the message.  Was it merely to scare people to convert? God doesn't do things without purpose.  He doesn't just do things to scare people or put on a great light show.  Everything he does is with highest reason, power, beauty and utility.

So first let's review the Miracle of the Sun which occurred October 13, 1917....

The Great Miracle of the Sun
The greatest miracle to occur since the Resurrection is also the only miracle ever precisely predicted as to date, time of day and location. Although it is popularly known as “The Miracle of the Sun” and October 13, 1917 has come to be known as “The Day the Sun Danced,” a great deal more took place. The solar phenomena included the dancing of the sun, its fluctuations in color, its swirling and its descending toward the earth. There was also the stillness in the leaves of the trees in spite of howling winds, the complete drying of the rain-soaked ground and the restoration of clothes all wet and covered with mud so that, as eye-witness Dominic Reis, put it, “They looked as tho they had just come back from the cleaners.” Physical cures of the blind and the lame were reported. The countless unreserved public confessions of sin and commitments to conversion of life attest to the authenticity of what they saw.
The miracle is reported to have been seen from as far as 15-25 miles away, thus ruling out the possibility of any type of collective hallucination or mass hypnotism. Doubters and skeptics had become believers. Even O Seculo’s chief editor, Avelino de Almeida, now reported affirmatively and stood by his story later on in spite of harsh criticism.

Many feared it was the end of the world resulting in many converting and people going to confession.  Also in Medjugorje, although perhaps not as dramatic as Fatima, there has been nearly a daily observance of the dancing Sun.

For many of the youth, growing up in Medjugorje, the spinning of the sun has become almost a natural occurrence, as this has been happening daily since they were born. ...
“On August 2, 1981, the Feast of Our Lady Queen of the Angels, in the late afternoon, before the sun had set, the sun was seen to spin in its orbit, then descend toward the watching people of approximately 150, then retreat – a ‘dance of the sun’ that reminded the people of the miraculous phenomenon at Fatima.

Sun Miracles at Medjugorje

The sun has always been a great symbol of the unity of the Trinity in it's fire, light and heat.  See The Trinity  for further discussion on this topic.  The sun is a lesson given to us by God, a lesson of love and purity from which all goods can trace their origin just as the sun is the source of all the good effects which it brings to the earth.

But you must know that all of creation, and each created thing, gives a lesson to man.  They all narrate Our Divine qualities, and each thing gives a lesson about the quality that it contains: the sun gives a lesson in light, and teaches that to be light it is necessary to be pure, stripped of every material thing.  Light always contains heat united to it - you cannot detach the light from the heat - so if you want to be light you must love only your Creator, and this will bring to you, like the sun, the fecundity of good.
Vol. 21, April 22, 1927

Just as the sun is a lesson on how we should be it is also a lesson on the very nature of God and his trans-formative power.  There is no darkness, pain, vice or sorrow which the Divine Will can not transform into beauty.

“My daughter, as the sun, when it rises, makes the darkness flee, so it brings with it the dawning of the light which replaces the dampness of the night which has so invested the plants that they have become oppressed, numbed, and dejected.  As the sun rises, that dampness changes into pearls making everything glisten:  plants, flowers, and all of nature.  It’s silvery brilliance restores joy and beauty as it removes the stupor of the night; and with its enchantment of light it seems as if it gives a hand to all of nature to vitalize her, make her beautiful, and give her life.  The sea, the streams, and the springs become all armed and enlarge the diversity and vivacity of the colors.
“Similarly, as My Volition rises, all human acts rest enveloped with light, they take their place of honor in My Will, [and] each receives its special tint of beauty and the tone of the Divine colors - in such a way that the soul remains transfigured and covered with an indescribable beauty.  As the Sun of My Volition rises It places in flight all the evils of the soul and takes away the numbness produced by the passions.  Rather, before the Light of the Divine Fiat the same passions taste that light and seek to convert themselves into virtues so they may give homage to My Eternal Volition.  As It rises all becomes joy, [even] the very sufferings [which], like the seas of the night, create fear in the poor creature.  Where My Volition rises It puts to flight the night of the human will, and removing every fear It thoroughly forms Its gold in those pains, and with Its Light It invests the bitter waters of suffering and crystallizes them into seas of sweetness so as to form an enchanting and admirable horizon.  What can My Volition not do?  It can do all, and wants to give all; [and] where It rises, It does things worthy of Our creative hands.”
Vol. 21, March 22, 1927

But if the sun were to leave it's orbit and come too close to the earth, as was witness in the Great Miracle of the Sun, the earth would burn up being transformed into the very fires of the sun losing it's own form and essence.  This is also a symbol of the difference between creatures living off of the effects of grace or the effects of the light of the sun and those who are called to live in the Divine Will or in the very unity of it.

I was thinking about the unity of the Divine Fiat, and was saying to myself: ‘How could all those who have done good, so many great works, do them, if they did not possess Its unity?’ And Jesus, always benign, added: “My daughter, all the good done until now by creatures has been done by virtue of the effects of my Divine Will, because there is no good without It; but as for living totally and fully in Its unity – none until now, only my Queen Mama; and this is why She drew the great prodigy of the Incarnation of the Word. Had there been someone, the earth would have returned to the state of Eden; and then, the one who would possess the unity of my Will could neither have contained It, nor endured without speaking about It. It would have been as if the sun wanted to enclose itself inside a vase of crystal, without spreading its rays. Would it not, instead, crack the glass with its heat so as to be free to spread its rays? To possess the unity of my Fiat and not to speak about It, and not to spread Its rays, the beauty of Its knowledges, would have been impossible for her; her heart would crack if she did not give it vent to manifest, in part, the fullness of Its light and of Its goods. So, good has been done by virtue of the effects of It.

The same happens with the sun which, by virtue of the effects which its light contains, makes the plants germinate, and makes the earth produce so much good. It seems that the earth and the effects of the sun work together to produce plants, fruits and flowers for the creatures. But the earth does not rise into the sphere of the sun; if it did so, the sun would have so much strength as to remove the dark side of the earth, and all of its atoms of dust it would convert into light - and the earth would become sun. But since the earth does not rise, nor does the sphere of the sun descend down below, the earth remains earth, and the sun does not transform it into itself. It seems that they look at each other from afar, they help each other, and they work together by means of the effects of the light, which the sun spreads over the earth from the height of its sphere. But even though the earth receives many admirable effects, produces the most beautiful flowerings, there passes a great distance between the earth and the sun, they do not resemble each other, nor does the life of one become the life of the other. And so the earth is unable to speak about the sun, nor tell all the effects it contains, or how much heat and light it possesses. In such condition is the creature who does not possess the unity of my Will. She does not rise into Its extremely high sphere to become sun, nor does my divine Sun descend to form her life; but, in wanting to do good, she moves around Its light, and my Will communicates the effects to make the good that she wants to germinate, because my Fiat does not deny Itself to anyone; on the contrary, with Its light, It wakens the human nature, to make it turn green again and make it produce fruits of good works.”
Vol. 23, February 2, 1928

So the Divine Will when it can not fuse itself with it's beloved creature does not turn away from her but still, even from a distance, communicates his effects in order produce fruits and good effects in her.  But it becomes limited and constrained by the will of the creature and what she will accept.  Still the object of love is unity, fusion, and a relationship from a distance can never wholly satisfy and when there is distance there will always be inconstancy and doubts.

Whence feeling oppressed and all full with intense bitterness, my sweet Jesus making himself seen and sustaining me between his arms said to me:

“My daughter, courage, think that a Divine Volition reigns in you, that he is the source of happiness and of perennial joy; whence your bitterness and oppressions form the clouds around the Sun of my Will, which impede his rays from shining in all your being, because wanting to make you happy he feels the happiness that he wants to give you rejected by your bitterness.  And in spite that you possess a divine Sun at your disposition, in virtue of your bitterness you feel the rain that oppresses you, that fills you even to the brim of your soul.  Because you should know that one who lives in my Will lives in the center of the sphere of the divine Sun, and can say:  ‘The Sun is all mine.’  Instead one who doesn’t live in Him lives in the circumference of the light that the divine Sun spreads everywhere, because my Volition neither can with his immensity deny himself to anyone, nor does he want to deny himself, he finds himself as the Sun that is constrained to give light to everyone, although not everyone might want it, and why is this?  Only because he is light and the nature of the light is to give itself to everyone, to whom doesn’t want him and to whom wants him.  But what great difference there is between one who lives in the center of my Divine Sun and between one who lives in his circumference?  The first one possesses the properties of the light and all his goods that are infinite; the light holds her defended from all evils, so that sin can not have life in this light, and if bitternesses arise, they are as clouds that can not have perennial life, a little breeze of my Will is enough in order to put in flight the densest clouds, and the soul finds herself sunk in the center of the Sun that she possesses.  More so that bitternesses of one who lives in my Volition are always for my cause, and I can say that I am embittered together with you, and if I see you cry, I cry together, because my same Will makes me inseparable from one who lives in Him and I feel her sufferings more than if they might be mine.  Indeed my same Will that resides in the soul calls my Humanity in one who suffers, in order to make him repeat his living life upon the earth; and oh, (the) divine prodigies that happen, the new currents that are opened between Heaven and earth, for the new life of sufferings that Jesus holds in his creature.  And my Heart while it is human, it is divine, it possesses the sweetest tenderness, they are such and so many the attractions and the powerful tendernesses of my Heart, that as I see one who loves me suffer, my most tender love liquefies my Heart and repours all of itself out over the sufferings and over the heart of my beloved creature.  Therefore I am with you in the suffering and do two offices:  as Actor of sufferings and (as) Spectator, in order to enjoy the fruits of my sufferings that I want to go developing in her.  Therefore for one who lives in my Will I am Sun and center of her life, hence we are inseparable, I feel her palpating life in me and she feels my palpating life in the intimacy of her soul.  Instead for one who lives in the circumference of the light because the sun of my Divine Will spreads everywhere, she is not proprietor of the light, because true mastery is said when a good resides in oneself, and no one can take away the good of within, neither in life nor after death, instead the good of outside is subject to peril nor does it hold power to hold us in security, and the soul suffers weakness, inconstancy, passions that torment her, and she arrives to feel as distant from her Creator.  Therefore I want you always in my Will, in order to let me continue my life upon the earth.”
Vol. 29, February 13, 1931

Now Jesus said in the beginning of this "...but as for living totally and fully in Its unity – none until now, only my Queen Mama;"  Only Mary up until Luisa has lived in the total unity of the Divine Will.  Only she is "the full of grace."   And as she is fully united with the Will of God just as God will have his Kingdom and victory in the end so will the Queen Mama.

July 13, 1917
In the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph. The Holy Father will consecrate Russia to me and she will be converted, and a period of peace will be granted to the world.”

There is a great deal which can be said about the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.  Her every act done in the Divine Will was in fact a triumph but her complete triumph will not occur until God Kingdom reigns supreme, that is it reigns within the creature just as it reigned within her.  I've explored this topic more in depth in:  The Queenship of Mary.  Instead I'd like to close this topic with looking at the difference between Jesus and Mary.  For no matter how lofty Mary is above all creatures she is still a creature before the face of God.  She may be the perfect reflection of His light being constantly bathed with the fullness of His light to the point where she is the mediatrix of all grace but Jesus contains within Himself the source of all.

“My daughter, between Myself and the Celestial Queen, one was the Will that animated Us, one the life; however, between She and I passed this difference: between a house which is such that the sun enters into it from all sides - in a way that the light invests it, dominates it, and there is not one part of this house in which the light does not act as queen, and therefore it is prey to the light, receives always light, and grows under the influence of the light - and another house which possesses the sphere of the sun within itself, therefore it does not receive the source of the light from outside, but possesses it inside. Is there not difference between one and the other? Now, this is the difference that passes between Me and my Mama. She is the house invested by the light, She gave Herself prey to it, and the Sun of my Will kept giving to Her, always; It nourished Her with light, and She grew within the endless rays of the eternal Sun of my Fiat. On the other hand, my Humanity possessed within Itself the sphere of the Divine Sun, Its source which always arises without ever decreasing; and the Sovereign Queen drew from Me the light which gave Her life and the glory of Queen of light, because one who possesses a good can be called queen of that good.”
Vol. 23, March 11, 1928

So in conclusion the Great Miracle of the Sun was a foreshadowing of the Triumph of the the Immaculate Heart of Mary.  Her Triumph being having children living in the unity of the Sun of the Divine Will, not just by it's effects.  Her triumph is the coming of the Kingdom of God, the return of the creature "... to the order, to her post and to the purpose for which she was created by God."  This is the very title of the Volumes given by Jesus himself written by Luisa.

simplicity

The Kingdom of God isn’t a “show” or a “carnival,” it doesn’t like publicity and prefers to grow “hidden,” said Pope Francis during the Mass he celebrated at Santa Marta in the Vatican on November 16, 2017
.
Commenting on the Gospel of the day (Luke 17:20-25), the Holy Father noted the “doubt” and the “curiosity” that drives men regarding the “Kingdom of God.” This Kingdom, he explained in his homily reported by Vatican Radio, grows “hidden”, “in humility.”
“Who makes this seed grow, who makes it germinate?” he asked. God, the Holy Spirit, who is within us. And the Holy Spirit is spirit of sweetness, spirit of humility; He is spirit of obedience, spirit of simplicity. It’s He who makes the Kingdom of God grow from within, not from pastoral plans, great things…No, it’s the Spirit, secretly…then the moment arrives and the fruit appears.
The Kingdom of God is always a “surprise,” because “it’s a gift given by the Lord,” continued the Pontiff. “The Kingdom of God doesn’t come in a way to attract attention…It’s not a show or…a carnival…The Kingdom of God doesn’t show itself with sufficiency, pride, it doesn’t like publicity: it’s humble, hidden, and grows thus.”
“We are all called to take this path of the Kingdom of God,” he stressed. “It’s a vocation, it’s a grace, it’s a gift, it’s free, it’s not purchased, it’s a grace that God gives us. And all of us, baptized, have the Holy Spirit within us.”
Pope Francis concluded by inviting to an examination of conscience: “How is my relationship with the Holy Spirit?…Do I believe in Him; do I really believe that the Kingdom of God is in our midst, that it’s hidden, or do I prefer a show?”
The Pontiff wished for Christians the grace to have germinate “in us and in the Church, forcefully, the seed of the Kingdom of God so that it becomes big, so that it gives shelter to numerous persons and bears fruits of holiness.”
Pope Francis on the Kingdom of God

This simplicity and it's importance is repeatedly emphasized in the Volumes and without simplicity there is no sure place for his truths to find a home.

Then He showed me many religious people and, among them, priests - even of holy life.  But as good as they were, they lacked that spirit of simplicity in believing in the many graces and the many ways the Lord uses with souls.  Jesus said to me:  “I communicate Myself both to the humble and to the simple, because they immediately believe in my graces and take them into great consideration, though they may be ignorant and poor.  But with these others you see, I am very reluctant, because the first step which draws the soul near Me is belief; and it happens that these, with all of their science and doctrine, and even holiness, never come to experience a ray of celestial light – that is, they walk along the natural way, and they never arrive at touching, even slightly, that which is supernatural.  This is also the reason for which in the course of my mortal life there was not one learned, one priest, one man of power, among my followers, but all ignorant and of low condition – because these were more humble and simple, and also more disposed to make great sacrifices for Me.”
Vol. 2, May 19, 1899

But one knows, that my truths find post more in the simple hearts than in the learned hearts.  This happened in my Redemption, with my sorrow not one learned one followed Me; but all the poor, ignorant and simple ones.  You should know that my truths are seeds that I the Celestial Farmer continue to sow in souls, and if I make my seeding(,) with certainty I must gather the fruit.  Many times it happens to Me as to the poor sower that casts his seed in the earth, which for lack of moisture the earth doesn’t hold the strength to eat the seed in order to digest it and to convert it in earth and give the substance that it has absorbed from the seed and give the ten, the twenty, the one hundred of the seed that it has eaten.  Other times while he casts the seed, for lack of rain the earth is made hard over the seed and the substance of the seed that it encloses doesn’t find the way in order to make life go forth, and the poor farmer must have patience to receive the harvest of his seeds.  However with having sowed the seed he has already done a thing and can have hope of who knows that a rain might give moisture to the earth, which possessing the substance of his seeds, it will put forth that which he has sowed, or else taking away the hardness and shifting it forms the ways in order to let his seed reproduce.  So that the sower in spite that the earth doesn’t produce immediately, the multiplicity of the seed that it received, the time, the circumstances, the rain, can produce a most abundant harvest that he didn’t expect.  Now if the farmer in spite of all the difficulties of the earth, can hope to receive an abundant harvest, more so I, Celestial Farmer, having put forth from my Divine bosom, so many seeds of Celestial truths, in order to sow them in the depth of your soul, and from the harvest I will fill the whole world.
Vol. 31, February 24, 1933

Just as we must be simple to allow the light of God's truth, his seed to enter us we must also be simple working with a purity of intention and detached from all that is not God in order to enter the narrow door to Jesus.

Assuming a more afflicted air, He added:  “My daughter, what will happen to so many works, even good, done without purity of intention, out of habit and self-interest?  What shame will not fall upon them on the Day of Judgment, in seeing so many works, good in themselves, but made rotten by their intention, such that, their very actions, instead of rendering honor to them, as they would to many others, will give them shame?  In fact, I do not look at the greatness of the works, but at the intention with which they are done.  Here is all my attention."

Jesus kept silent for a little while, and I kept thinking about the words He had spoken to me while I was meditating within my mind, especially on the purity of intention, and on the fact that, when creatures do good, they must disappear, making the creature one with the Lord Himself, as if creatures did not exist.
Then Jesus continued, saying to me:  "Yet, it is so.  See, my Heart is so very large, but the door is very narrow.  No one can fill the void of this Heart but souls who are detached, naked and simple.  In fact, as you see, since the door is small, any hindrance, even the slightest – that is, a shadow of attachment, an intention which is not upright, a work done without the purpose of pleasing Me – prevents them from entering to delight in my Heart.  Much love of neighbor enters my Heart, but it must be so united to mine as to form one single love, in such a way that one cannot be distinguished from the other.  But as for the other love of neighbor which is not transformed into my love – I do not look at it as something that belongs to Me."
Vol. 2,  May 7, 1899

Early in the Volumes Luisa received four rules by which to live by so as to become detached from all that is of this earth, from others and even from herself.  In effect He taught her how to become simple and in knowing herself more for what she lacks she would learn to trust Jesus more and more.  This is what leads to the purity of intention.  In knowing one's own nothingness one depends and trusts only God's Will with the desire to only act together and in union with Him.

Jesus gives four rules of life to the soul.
Jesus gave me new rules of life, to make me live more intimately united to him, following him more perfectly than I have in the past.  ...

1          So, I say that first of all Jesus directed me to totally detach myself from all creation, and even from my own self, almost as though I was to live in perfect forgetfulness of all things.  With this, my interior would become disposed to have his sweet memory ever present to me, and a living and beating affection of love toward him, so that, being pleased with all my acts, he might form his permanent dwelling in my heart.  Outside of him, he said, I was no longer to know anyone:  not friends, not even my own self.  Only in him was the memory of everything and of everyone to be reawakened, since the creature necessarily can be found in him.  To achieve this, he added that I was always to act with holy indifference, mindless of what may be happening around me.  In other words, I was always to act uprightly and with the greatest simplicity, not keeping account of the pros and the cons of creatures.
“In practice then, if at times I didn’t do all this, my dear Jesus, scolding me severely, said, “If you do not achieve not only effective detachment, but affective as well, you cannot become entirely clothed in my light.  If, on the contrary, you strip yourself of every earthly affection, you will become like a most clear crystal that lets all the light go through it.  Then my divinity, which is light, will enter you in its entirety.”
2          “In the second place, he said I was to no longer live in myself, but only and entirely in him, that is to say, I was to live detached from myself.  I was always to take care to clothe myself in the true spirit of faith, by which I was always to strive to know myself better – in order to distrust my own ability, being incapable of doing anything by myself, and to always come to know my Jesus more, to be able to trust in him more and more.”
“After you have come to the knowledge of yourself and of who I am,” he said to me, “as a consequence, very often you will go outside of yourself to cast yourself into the immense sea of my providence.  Then, as a little bride of whom the bridegroom is so jealous that he does not want to let her take the least pleasure with others, you will always keep close to me.  And just as she is always facing her spouse so that he cannot have any doubts about her, so too, you will give me absolute dominion over yourself – whether I want to caress you, enrich you with charisms, kisses and love; or strike you, oppress you and put any suffering on you.  You will have to subject yourself to everything for my love, always in the full freedom of your will, because we will share both pains and joys.  Indeed we will compete to see which of us can take more pains upon ourselves, for the sole purpose of pleasing and contenting the other.”
3          “In the third place, not your will but mine alone must be in you.  It must be there and rule as a king in his royal palace.  Otherwise, the disagreements of an unsatisfactory love will make themselves heard at once, from which dark shadows will appear, giving rise in you to those discords and that dissimilarity of actions unacceptable to the mutual nobility which absolutely must reign between you, my spouse, and me.  This nobility will reign in you if, from time to time, you try to enter your nothingness, that is, if you come to the perfect knowledge of yourself – but not to remain there.  Once you have known your nothingness, without delay you must do everything in your power to enter into the infinite power of my Will.  From there you will draw all the graces you need in order to raise yourself up into me and do everything with me, with no regard to yourself; for I want you to completely disappear in me.”
4          “In the fourth place, from now on between you and me, I don’t want that ‘you’ and ‘I’ to exist.  Therefore, it will no longer be said ‘you will do,’ ‘I will do,’ but ‘we will do.’  Also, that ‘yours’ and ‘mine’ must disappear.  Instead, we will say ‘ours,’ of al things, since you, as my faithful spouse will share with me and will guide the destiny of the world.  All the redeemed by my blood have become my children and brothers; and just as they are mine, so too will they be children and brothers of yours.  As children, you shall love them as true mother.  It is true that these brothers and children will cost us numerous pains because for the most part they have become very unrestrained, extremely self-willed, and many even perverted.  Even so, after my example, you will take upon yourself the pains they deserve, and at the cost of the most painful sacrifices you will try to save them.  Then you will bring them to my heart covered by the merits of the pains you have suffered and all sprinkled with your blood and mine.  In view of this, not only will my heavenly Father have mercy on them and forgive them; but furthermore, if they are perfectly contrite, many of them, like the good thief, will very quickly take eternal possession of paradise.
“Finally, in the measure that you have detached yourself from everything that is not purely mine, you will find yourself ever more immersed in my absolute Will; and in it, thanks to the knowledge of my essence, which will become more lively in you day by day, you will acquire the fullness of my love.  Then (just as one sees images in a mirror at the rebounding reflection of the light), so too, more than ever, you will find all creatures having a spirit of intelligence and of love, really ordered in me in such a way that at a single glance you will see them all and will know the state of conscience of each.  Then, for this reason, more than as loving mother, in the true spirit of mercy – which is my spirit and that of my mother – you will make the maximum sacrifice, offering yourself in sacrifice for them  This sacrifice will be like a mantle that will completely cover you, as my true imitator and faithful spouse.”
Vol. 1

It is only in the emptying of ourselves from ourselves and our disordered attachments that we can turn to God who can fill us completely with himself.  It is often through dryness that He begins this process in us and then we through humility and obedience continue it.

And He:  “I am not making fun of you; you yourself cannot comprehend that when not everything is dry in the soul, complacency is a humor, satisfaction is a humor, one’s own taste is a humor, self-esteem is a humor.  On the other hand, when everything is dry and the soul operates, these humors have no place from which to arise, and the Divine Fire, finding only the soul naked, as dry as she was created by It, with no other extraneous humors, since it is something that belongs to It, it is extremely easy for It to convert her into Its very Divine Fire.  And after this, I infuse in her a garment of peace, and this peace is preserved by interior obedience, and kept by external obedience.  This peace gives birth to the whole of God within the soul – that is, to all the works, the virtues and the ways of the Humanate Word – in such a way that one can see in her His simplicity, His humility, the dependency of His infantile life, the perfection of His adult virtues, the mortification and the crucifixion of His dying.  But it always begins from this:  one who wants the whole of Christ must give everything to Christ.”
Vol. 4, April 29, 1902

It is through simplicity that we can come to most closely resemble God who is most pure and simple Spirit and bypass doors and obstacles and not become stained by the earth's ugliness.  She becomes like light which can communicate itself to all.  With this virtue she can come to participate in the other divine qualities as there are no obstacles for the work of Divine Grace in her.

“My daughter, simplicity is to virtues as condiment to foods.  For a simple soul there are neither keys nor doors to enter into Me, nor are there for Me to enter into her, because from all sides she can enter into Me, and I into her.  Even more, to better say it, she finds herself in Me without entering because, by her simplicity, she comes to resemble Me, who am most simple Spirit, and only because I am most simple I am present everywhere and nothing can escape my hand.  A simple soul is like the light of the sun – in spite of any fog, or of the fact that its rays pass through whatever rubbish, it remains always light, it gives light to all, and it never changes.  In the same way, a simple soul, no matter what mortification or displeasure she may receive, does not cease to be light for herself and for those who have mortified her.  And if she sees evil things, she does not become stained, but remains always light; nor does she change, because simplicity is that virtue which most resembles the Divine Being.  Only through this virtue can one participate in the other divine qualities, and only in the soul who is simple are there no impediments or obstacles for Divine Grace to enter and to operate.  In fact, since both one and the other are light, one light easily unites and transforms into the other.”
Vol. 7, July 31, 1906

Simplicity is the mark of the Trinity.  Simplicity is the fruit of  Justice and Truth.  Truth is the child of Justice and when this mark is present in the soul the soul sees clearly and can not be deceived.  She recognizes  the absence of peace and recognizes deceit turning away from it.  With processing the mark of simplicity she can penetrate into all that is good and this mark is so beautiful before God that it wounds His Heart and makes her the admiration of both angels and men.

“The daughter of justice is truth.  Just as I am the eternal Truth, and I do not deceive, nor can I deceive, in the same way, the soul who possesses justice makes truth shine in all of her actions.  Therefore, since she knows by experience the true light of truth, if someone wants to deceive her, since that light which she feels within herself is missing, she immediately recognizes the deceit.  And so it happens that with this light of truth she deceives neither herself, nor her neighbor, nor can she be deceived.  The fruit produced by this justice and by this truth is simplicity, which is another quality of my Being – being simple; so much so, that I penetrate everywhere; there is nothing that can prevent Me from penetrating inside of it.  I penetrate into Heaven and into the abysses, into good and into evil; but my Being, which is most simple, by penetrating even into evil, does not get dirty; even more, it does not receive the slightest shadow.  In the same way, through justice and truth, gathering this beautiful fruit of simplicity within herself, the soul penetrates into Heaven, she enters into hearts to lead them to Me, she penetrates into everything that is good; and if she finds herself with sinners and sees the evil that they do, she does not get dirty because, being simple, she immediately brushes it off, without receiving any harm.  Simplicity is so beautiful, that my Heart is wounded at one gaze alone of a simple soul.  She is the admiration of angels and men.”
Vol. 2, August 10, 1899

We with our human natures tend to complicate matters and we think that things of God are complex but the opposite is true.  The sign that God is working in the soul is the mark of simplicity and the sign of the reign of God's Kingdom will be also simplicity.  That which complicates, that which is overly intellectualized should be met warily and is more likely coming from man rather than God.

“My daughter, my Divine Will simplifies the creature, It empties her so much of everything that does not belong to It, that nothing else is left of the human being but a complex of simplicity. Simple the gaze, the word, the manners, the steps; the mark of the divine simplicity can be seen in her as though in a mirror. Therefore, when my Divine Will reigns on earth, pretense, lie, which can be called origin of every evil, will not longer exist; while simplicity, as origin of every true good, will be the true characteristic that will point out that here reigns the Divine Will.

Rounds in Creation

St Francis of Assisi, Canticle of the Sun

Most High, all powerful, good Lord,
Yours are the praises, the glory, the honor, and all blessing.
To You alone, Most High, do they belong,
and no man is worthy to mention Your name.
Be praised, my Lord, through all your creatures,
especially through my lord Brother Sun,
who brings the day; and you give light through him.
And he is beautiful and radiant in all his splendor!
Of you, Most High, he bears the likeness.
Praised be You, my Lord, through Sister Moon
and the stars, in heaven you formed them
clear and precious and beautiful.
Praised be You, my Lord, through Brother Wind,
and through the air, cloudy and serene,
and every kind of weather through which
You give sustenance to Your creatures.
Praised be You, my Lord, through Sister Water,
which is very useful and humble and precious and chaste.
Praised be You, my Lord, through Brother Fire,
through whom you light the night and he is beautiful
and playful and robust and strong.
Praised be You, my Lord, through Sister Mother Earth,
who sustains us and governs us and who produces
varied fruits with colored flowers and herbs.
Praised be You, my Lord,
through those who give pardon for Your love,
and bear infirmity and tribulation.
Blessed are those who endure in peace
for by You, Most High, they shall be crowned.
Praised be You, my Lord,
through our Sister Bodily Death,
from whom no living man can escape.
Woe to those who die in mortal sin.
Blessed are those whom death will
find in Your most holy will,
for the second death shall do them no harm.
Praise and bless my Lord,
and give Him thanks
and serve Him with great humility

I have always been inspired by the depth of St Francis' Canticle of the Sun and his insight into our connection with all of Creation.  Francis has always prefigured, for me, the living in the Divine Will.  It's only in the Volumes that I've discovered that this Canticle is only the initial insight of a greater truth.

I believe St Francis had a glimpse of the deep connection we all have in Creation.  In the Volumes Jesus speaks of how God created everything, leaving himself in each created thing, so as to always be able to be in contact with man and to have something to do with him.  Yet man hardly even senses or acknowledges him there.

The whole of Creation is for Me like the body to the soul, like the skin to the fruit. I am in continuous immediate act with man, although created things hide Me, just as the body hides the soul. However, if it wasn’t for the soul, the body would have no life. In the same way, if I withdrew from created things, they would all remain without life. In all created things I visit man, I touch him and I give him life. I am hidden in the fire, and I visit him with its heat; if I were not there, the fire would have no heat - it would be a painted fire and without life. But while I visit man in the fire, he does not recognize Me, nor does he give Me one greeting. I am in the water, and I visit him by quenching his thirst; if I were not there, the water would quench no one’s thirst - it would be dead water. But while I visit him, he passes before Me without bowing once to Me. I am hidden in the food, and I visit man by giving him substance, strength and taste; if I were not there, in taking food man would remain on an empty stomach. Yet, ungrateful, while he feeds on Me, he turns his back to Me. I am hidden in the sun, and I visit him with my light almost every instant; yet, ungrateful, he repays Me with continuous offenses. I visit him in all things: in the air that he breathes, in the flower that gives off its fragrance, in the breeze that refreshes, in the thunder that strikes - in everything. My visits are innumerable. Do you see how much I love him? And you, being in my Will, are together with Me, visiting man and giving him life
Vol. 14, May 12,1922

Not only did God leave himself in each created thing so as to be able to always have something to do with man but each created thing is as a room where God meant to communicate himself and all his different attributes to man, a "communion" as he, himself, puts it.

"My daughter, look at the creation: the sky, the countless stars, the sun, the wind, the sea, the flowered fields, the peaks and the valleys - they are all rooms which I formed, and in each room I formed My court so that I could live there. This I did so as to give man the easy possibility of wherever he wanted to come he could find his God. I made it easy to find [God] immediately, and everywhere. And God placed Himself in each room in an act of waiting for him, [and] left all the rooms open so man wouldn’t have to bother with knocking, but thus could enter freely as often as he wanted; God was ready to receive him.

"The Creator of heaven and earth didn’t place Himself in one single place, but everywhere, so that man could find Him everywhere. He placed these rooms very close together to form many shortcuts, because there must not be any distance between Creator and creature, but closeness and communion. So all these rooms were and are relations, ties, and ways between God and man...

"What did the Paternal goodness of the Creator not do in creation for love of man? Not only did He form many rooms but they were different one from another so that He could be found in many different ways, by [man] whom He loved. In the sun He let Himself be found invested in light, all majesty, burning with love, waiting for man to give him His light, to make Himself understood, [and] to give him His love so that man, entering into this room to find his God, would himself become light and love. In the sea He let Himself be found as the strong God to give man strength. In the wind He let Himself be found ruling and dominating so as to give man rule and dominion. In other words, in each created thing God was waiting for man so that He could make him participate in all of His qualities."
Vol. 21, May 26, 1927

Each created thing is a lesson on how to acquire the attributes of God.  God himself is beyond our understanding so he created all things, each as a veil, a simplified lesson, in order to make himself understood by the created mind.  God, who is unfathomable, wants us to understand him, wants us to imitate him and to grow more and more in his likeness.  And yet hardly anyone looks beyond the surface to see God in his Creation.

"My daughter, see how beautiful all of creation is: what fascination of light, what enchantment of varieties, what rare beauty! Yet these are none other than the ornaments of our Divine Being, If such are our adornments, our Being surpasses in an unfathomable way our own ornaments, [and] the creature is incapable of understanding the incomprehensibility of our own Being.

"The eye is incapable of enclosing within itself all the vastness of the light of the sun, but [the sun] pours its light into the eye for as much as it can contain. However, to enclose within [the eye] the measure of the length and breadth of wherever the light extends itself is impossible. The sun is [similar] to Our Being, [and the eye] to human capacity; it is always Our adornments that the creature sees and experiences: he sees the sun, its light touches him and makes its warmth felt; he sees the immensity of the waters of the sea; he sees the blue expanse of the sky with many stars. But who can say of what the light is formed? How much light do (the Heavens) contain? How much water does the sea contain? How many stars are there, and of what is the blue vault of Heaven made? Man doesn’t know how to respond in the least, he just sees and enjoys all those things; he is the first among the ignorant ones in arithmetic, weights, and measures.

"If it is that way with our ornaments, much more is it with our Divine Being. The sky gives you a lesson about My Celestial Fatherland, it calls you continuously to your Creator, it gives you a lesson of detaching yourself from that which is of the earth, [and gives you a lesson] on the heights of holiness which you must reach. (It teaches you that) you must adorn yourself, with all the Divine virtues more than the stars. Each thing gives a lesson and calls man to reflect himself in them, to copy and imitate them. I did not create My ornaments just to make them be seen, but so that by imitating them man could be adorned. Yet who pays attention and listens to so many lessons? Almost no one!"
Vol. 21, April 22, 1927

"My daughter, My Will never exhausts Itself If I do not speak to you about It, all of creation will speak to you. Even the stones will change into voices to speak to you; the heavens, the sun, the sea, all creation has much to say about My Eternal Volition, because being full of Its Life, all things have a great deal to say about the Life of My Will, which they possess. So you must pay attention, because if you look at or touch something, you will hear new lessons about My Will."
Vol. 21, May 4, 1927

Each meeting with his creature in Creation was to be a "communion" his presence in each created thing is an "exposition" of himself.  Because mankind does not recognize God in Creation he does not give God his due honors.  We are called to adore God in all his manifestations and make up for those who don't.

"Oh! If the creatures paid attention to all the expositions which My Will makes in all of creation, they would need to stay always in an act of adoration to adore My Will exposed in the flowered fields with its radiant scents, in the loaded fruit trees with their variety of sweet flavors. There is no created thing which does not have its special Divine exposition, and because the creatures do not bestow the honors upon [My Will in creation] as they should, it’s up to you to maintain perpetual adoration in the exposition that the Supreme Fiat has in all of creation. My daughter, let it be you who offers herself as a perpetual adorer of this Will, for now It is absent of adorers and receives no exchange of love on the part of the creature.
Vol. 21, February 26, 1927

We can make God happy by bringing to him all of his Creation.  This is often referred to as a round.  In fact it is a duty of ours to do so.  We recognize God in each created thing, we thank him, we adore him, we praise him, we do this for ourselves as is our duty and for all mankind.  Only in the Divine Will is this possible.  And by doing so God reflects each of his attributes more and more in us, continuing and extending his Creation, his Kingdom within us.

"Besides that, all Our Divine qualities are spread out in creation, and each created thing occupies an office of Our Attributes. One is a child of Our Power, another of Justice, another of Light, another of Peace, another of Goodness - each created thing is a child of one of Our Attributes. So when you bring Me all of creation, you are the bearer of My happiness which is scattered in it, and I recognize My child of the light, of the sun, and my child of justice. In the sea I recognize the child of the surging wind, and the child of peace in the flowering earth. In other words I recognize each part of My Attributes in all created things, and I rejoice in recognizing My children which the little daughter of My Volition brings to Me. I do just as that father who has many children and each one of them occupies an office of love - one is prince, one is judge, one is a representative, one is a senator, one is a governor. The father feels happier as he recognizes each of these offices in the very fruit of his loins, and the honored nobility of his own children.

"All things were created to flow before and delight the children of the Supreme Fiat, and as I see you bring back to Us Our works We recognize in you Our design; and oh, how We rejoice seeing you make your rounds to gather together all Our works to again give Us Our joy which is dispersed in all of creation. So let your flight in My Will be continuous."
Vol. 21, February 23, 1927

I thought to myself: ‘If I spent one day without doing these acts, what would be the good I would lose and the evil I would do?’ And my always lovable Jesus told me: "My daughter, do you know what you would do? By not doing your acts in my Will, you would lack the reflection of all Creation; and because you would lack Its reflection, on that day the heavens would not extend within you, the sun would not rise, the sea would not flow within you, your earth would not let the new flowering bloom, nor would the joy, the music, the singing of the inhabitants of the air, the sweet symphony of the spheres, be heard in you. My Will would not find Its echo in you, therefore It would feel the sorrow that, on that day, the little daughter of Its Volition has not given It the requital of a heaven for love of It, because she lacked the reflection of Its heaven; she has not made the sun rise in return for Its eternal light; she has not let It hear the sea flowing, nor its sweet murmuring, nor the darting of the mute inhabitants of the waves. My Will would feel all of Its acts, the reflection of Its works, missing in you, nor could It form Its echo in you. And in Its sorrow, It would say: ‘Ah! today my little daughter has not given me a heaven as I have given to her, nor a sun, a sea, flowers, singing, music and joy, as I have given to her. So, she has gone out of my likeness; her notes have not harmonized with mine. I have loved her with many manifestations and with incessant love – she did not.’ See what you would do! My Will would not tolerate in you, Its little daughter, the void of Its works."
 Vol. 20, Nov.14, 1926

This purpose of Creation is to reflect each of it's attributes in man teaching us who God is and helping us to be more and more like him.  Like our Catholic catechism teaches us:  "God put us into the world to know, love and serve him, and so come to the happiness of paradise." 1720  The more we know him, the more we love him, the better we serve him in his Will.  It can also be seen in the Bible how Creation has longed to achieve it's goal.

19 For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the children of God; 20 for the creation was subjected to futility, not of its own will but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope 21 that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and will obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God.
Romans 8: 19-21

Each created thing contains a sea of the qualities of God which they want to form within us.  And with the fall of man Creation has been frustrated in achieving this end.  It is only by living in the Divine Will and doing our rounds in it that we can bring this about.  But it is not us who brings this about but only our cooperation in God's plan.  For as creatures it is impossible to follow his continuous motion in Creation.  God, however, has given us the echo of this continuous motion to join to his own.  It is always God who achieves these things but he needs our faithful cooperation and good will to be united and to live in his Divine Will.

"My daughter, as you go around in my Will, to follow It in each created thing, all of my attributes hear your call and enter the field in order to form, each one of them, the little sea of their qualities. Oh! how they triumph in seeing themselves active – being able to form each one its own little sea. But their highest pleasure and delight increases in being able to form in the little creature their seas of love, of light, of beauty, of tenderness, of power, and so forth. My wisdom acts as a talented artisan and with marvelous ingenuity, in placing its immense and infinite qualities in the littleness. Oh! how the soul who lives in my Will harmonizes with my attributes. Each one of them takes on its office in order to establish its divine quality. If you knew the great good that comes to you by following my Will in all of Its acts, and the crafting It carries out in you, you too would feel the joy of a continuous feast."

Then, after this, I continued to follow the Creation, and I could see that eternal motion that never stops, flowing everywhere; and I thought to myself: ‘How can I follow the Supreme Volition in everything, if It runs so rapidly in all things? I do not have Its virtue, nor Its rapidity; therefore I have to remain behind, without being able to follow Its eternal murmuring in everything.’ But while I was thinking of this, my sweet Jesus, moving in my interior, told me: "My daughter, all things have a continuous motion, because, having come out of a Supreme Being who contains a motion full of life, as a consequence, all things that came out of God were to contain a vital motion that never ceases. And if it ceases, it means that life ceases. See, you yourself have a murmuring, a continuous motion in your interior. Even more, the Divinity, in creating the creature, gave him the likeness of the Three Divine Persons; It placed in him three motions which were to murmur continuously, to unite themselves to that continuous motion and murmuring of love of their Creator. And these are: the motion of the beating of the heart that never ceases, the blood circulation that always circulates without ever stopping, the breathing of the breath that never stops. This, in the body; in the soul, then, there are three more motions that murmur continuously: the intellect, the memory and the will. Therefore, everything is in keeping your motion bound to the motion of your Creator, in order to murmur together with His eternal motion. In this way, you will follow my Will in Its motion that never stops, in Its acts that never cease, and you will make your motion return into the womb of your Creator, who awaits with so much love the return of His works, of His love, and of His murmuring.
Vol. 20, Nov. 20, 1926

The purpose of Creation will not be complete until creatures take possession of all of their riches.  In order for this to happen the creature must come to know the divine acts in Creation and by knowing them they will come to love them and in loving them they will come to acquire the right to possess them.  Only by turning and returning in all the acts of Creation, that is by doing rounds in the Creation, can one arrive to that point in which God has been calling us to return to him.  In this way God can return to resume his Creation in man which became interrupted with the fall and establish his Kingdom.

How, in the Creation, the Divinity bilocated Its Will. The nature of the Divine Will is happiness. How It constituted Itself act of everything. The possession It wants to give to the creature.
I continue in my state of abandonment in the Supreme Volition, and while I was going around with my mind in the whole Creation, to follow It in all created things and make my will one with Its own, so as to form one single act with Its own, my always lovable Jesus, making me pause, told me: "My daughter, in issuing the Creation, the Divinity bilocated Its Will, and One remained within Us, for Our regime, joy, happiness, contentments and innumerable and infinite beatitudes which We possess; because Our Will has the first place in all Our acts. The Other bilocated Will of Ours came out from Us into Creation, to give Us, also externally, divine honors and glory, and innumerable happinesses and joys. In fact, Our Will possesses joys, happinesses and beatitudes as Its own qualities – this is Its nature; and if It did not release from Itself these innumerable beatitudes and contentments which It possesses, it would be for It something against Its own nature. Now, the Supreme Majesty, by issuing Our bilocated Will into the whole Creation so that It might be constituted life and act of each created thing, issued from Itself innumerable riches, countless beatitudes and joys, which only the Power of the Eternal Fiat could preserve, maintaining their regime, so that they would never lose their integrity and beauty.

Now, while all these properties issued by Us glorified Us, giving Us the glory of as many continuous and divine acts for as many created things as came out to light, they were established as properties of creatures, who, unifying their wills with Ours, were to have their act in each act of Our Will, in such a way that, just as We were to have the divine act of Our Will in each created thing, We were to have the act of the creature, transfused, as if they were one alone. With this, she would come to know Its riches; by knowing them, she would love them, and she would acquire the right to possess them. How many divine acts does my Supreme Will not do in each created thing, and the creature has not even the most remote knowledge of these acts? And if she does not know them, how can she love them and possess them, if they are unknown to her? So, all the riches, the happinesses, the divine acts present in the whole Creation are inactive and lifeless for creatures; and if they receive anything at all, it is not as property, but as the effect of the Supreme Goodness which always gives of Its own. It gives, as alms, also to those who have no right of possession; others, then, take them as usurpations. In fact, in order to possess these goods which the Celestial Father put out in the Creation, the creature must make her way; she must elevate herself to union with that Divine Will, in order to work together with It, do the same acts, know them in order to do them, so as to be able to say: ‘What It does, I do’. With this, she acquires the right of possession in all the acts of this Supreme Will; and when two wills form one single will, ‘mine’ and ‘yours’ no longer exist; rather, by right, what is mine is yours, and what is yours is mine.

And so, this is the reason why my Supreme Will calls you – awaits you in each created thing, to make known to you the riches which are in It, to make you repeat Its divine acts together with It, and to give you the right of possession. You yourself become Its own property; you remain dissolved within Its immense riches and within Its very acts, and - oh! how the Divine Fiat enjoys making you the owner of Its immense riches. Its desire of constituting Its heiresses is so great, that It feels twice as happy when It sees one who knows Its possessions and makes Its divine act her own; so much so, that even though It saw that man, by withdrawing from Its Will, lost his way to reach the possession of Its dominions, It did not stop, but in the excess of Its Love and of Its long sorrow of seeing Its riches inactive for the good of creatures, as soon as the Eternal Word clothed Himself with human flesh, It constituted Itself life of each of His acts, so as to form more goods for them, powerful aids and effective remedies, more within the reach of decayed humanity, so as to realize the purpose of making them possess what was issued in Creation. There is nothing that comes from Us, which does not have this purpose – that the creature and everything return into Our Will. If it were not so, We would render Ourselves extraneous to Our own works. So, Creation, Redemption, my daughter, have the primary purpose that everything be Our Will, in Heaven and on earth; therefore, It flows everywhere, It is present in every place, to make everything Its own, and to give everything that belongs to It. Therefore, be attentive in following Our works; satisfy this desire, so insistent, of my Supreme Will, which wants those who possess Its goods."
Vol. 20, December 19, 1926

In so many words all of this speaks of the return of the Kingdom.  "Creation, Redemption...have the primary purpose that everything be Our Will, in Heaven and on earth."  So to turn and return in all of Creation every day, and in Redemption too...it's a Herculean task to be sure but Jesus promises that all of Creation is an army which is always ready to regain this Kingdom and it will not retreat.  It's presence is a sure promise that the Kingdom will return.

“It is similar to that which happens to a king who, because of war, lost his kingdom - but is there not the possibility that one of his children could win back with another war, his father’s kingdom which is already his?  It is [even] more likely [for the Kingdom of My Will] because I, as the Divine Winner, came to earth to recover man’s losses; and, having found one who would want to receive this Kingdom, I restored these forces to him by once again putting My army at his disposition to maintain the order, the decorum, and the glory of [My Kingdom].

“And. what is this army?  It is all of creation, more than a wondrous and formidable army; it is the life of My Will which is bilocated within each created thing, [put] there to maintain the Life of this Kingdom.  How could man lose hope of again possessing this Kingdom?  If he had seen this invincible army of creation totally disappear, then he could have said that God had withdrawn from the face of the earth His Will which vivifies, beautifies, and enriches this Kingdom, [and] there is no longer any hope that It may return into [man’s] possession.  But as long as this [army] exists, We must wait until the times are right to find those who will want to receive It.

“Then again, if there was no longer any hope for the possession of the Kingdom of the Divine Fiat, it would not have been necessary that God manifest to you so many knowledges regarding It, nor how His Volition wishes to reign, nor the extent of His sorrow because It doesn’t reign.  When something cannot be done, it is useless to speak about it; in that case I would not have had such interest in relating so many things regarding My Divine Will.  The mere fact of [My] having spoken about It is a sign that I want It to be possessed once again.
Vol. 21, March 19, 1927
Now for those who would like to know better just how Luisa did these rounds there is a little book which can be read here online, which her confessor had her write, again, under obedience.

The Rounds of the Soul in the Divine Will

Now I typically can only do little rounds as my mind gets lost in such large undertakings.  So in order to make it even smaller for me to handle I've come up with a little rhyme to do in the mornings to help me.

Thank you Lord for this new day.
Thank you Lord in every way,
For the sun high up above,
which burns with the purity of your love.
Within this sun I place my love, my praise, my thanks,
may your Kingdom come.
I ask you Lord to place in me this burning fire of your purity.

I thank you Lord for the sky so high,
so blue, so wide, eternal smile.
Symbol of your eternity,
your ever present love for me.
Within this sky I place my love, my praise, my thanks,
may your Kingdom come.
I ask you Lord to place in me this symbol of your eternity.

I thank you Lord for water all,
the springs, the rivers, the waterfalls.
The babbling brooks, the deep blue sea,
a symbol of you power and humility.
Within all water I place my love, my praise, my thanks,
may your Kingdom come.
I ask you Lord to place in me this symbol of your humility.

I thank you Lord for the Earth so green,
the hills, the valleys and all in-between.
the burning steppes and deep ravines,
symbol of your immutability.
Within this world I place my love, my praise, my thanks,
may your Kingdom come.
I ask you Lord to place in my this symbol of your immutability.

I thank you Lord for the stars up high,
that shine and twinkle in the sky.
A symbol of your order and harmony,
your virtues displayed for all to see.
Within them all I place my love, my praise, my thanks,
may your Kingdom come.
I ask you Lord to place in me your order and you harmony.

I thank you Lord for the birds and fish,
that fly, that dart, that splash and splish.
In loving notes each pass they weave,
A loving woven tapestry.
Within them all I place my love, my praise, my thanks,
may your Kingdom come.
I ask you Lord to place in me this constant weave of love for thee.

I thank you Lord for the animals all,
the big, the tall, the fast, the small.
The ones with fur, the ones with shells,
with hair, with scales or only skin.
Within them all I place my love, my praise, my thanks,
may your Kingdom come.
I ask you Lord to place in me this symbol of you fecundity.
