Be the Light to the World

At Sunday's mass, 2/5/17, the priest gave an amazing insight into the first reading which got me to thinking.  He told us about how there were three switches to turn the light of God on in us and three switches to turn off the darkness.  He also mentioned that there are some parts to this reading that were poorly translated from the original Hebrew.

Reading 1 Is 58:7-10
Thus says the LORD:
Share your bread with the hungry,
shelter the oppressed and the homeless;
clothe the naked when you see them,
and do not turn your back on your own.
Then your light shall break forth like the dawn,
and your wound shall quickly be healed;
your vindication shall go before you,
and the glory of the LORD shall be your rear guard.
Then you shall call, and the LORD will answer,
you shall cry for help, and he will say: Here I am!
If you remove from your midst
oppression, false accusation and malicious speech;
if you bestow your bread on the hungry
and satisfy the afflicted;
then light shall rise for you in the darkness,
and the gloom shall become for you like midday.

The three switches to turn on the light are:  1- Share your bread with the hungry, 2 - shelter the oppressed and the homeless, 3- clothe the naked, not turning your back on your own.

The three switches to turn off the darkness are to remove from your midst: 1- oppression, 2- false accusation,  3- malicious speech.

The pieces of this reading which are subject to a relook at the original Hebrew are:

"Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him, and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh."

"If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking wickedness;"

"And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in darkness, and thy gloom be as the noon-day"

The points that he emphasized were the fact that the actual passage calls us to not just to shelter the homeless but to bring them into our own homes, that in clothing the naked, they are not just our own but our own flesh, our own family.  That in removing from our midst "oppression" the actual word is "the yoke" which has a much deeper association with slavery and overburdening as overburdening a beast.  A sense that people can be dehumanized and isolated.  Instead of false accusation the real phrase used is "putting forth of the finger" which is more of blaming others, and for that matter judging others.  And not just removing "malicious speech" but removing "speaking wickedness."  This is more to the idea of any focus on anything wicked.  In other words the focus should be God.  And the one that really caught my attention was:  "draw out thy soul to the hungry", not "bestow your bread on the hungry."  Now I can sympathize with the translators, in our own base frame of reference that doesn't make any sense but in the light of the Divine Will it makes a world of sense.

So in looking at these topics in the Volumes of feeding the hungry, sheltering the homeless and feeding the hungry he calls us to do these things in imitation of how he deals with us but more so he even wants us to do these things in turn for him.

Now nakedness has such a deeper meaning in the light of God.  He speaks of how he was stripped in his passion and how this was necessary to repair for how Man stripped himself of his royal garment given to him by God.  We lost the light of the Divine Will which clothed us and we were left naked in our own base nothingness.

“My daughter, in my Passion there is a lament of mine which came out with immense sorrow from the depth of my tormented Heart:  ‘They divided my garments and drew lots for my tunic.’  How painful it was for Me to see my garments being divided among my very executioners, and my tunic being gambled away.  It was the only object I possessed, given to Me, with so much love, by my sorrowful Mama; and now, they not only stripped Me of it, but they made of it a game.  But do you know who pierced Me the most?  In those garments, Adam became present to Me, clothed with the garment of innocence and covered with the indivisible tunic of my Supreme Will.  In creating him, the uncreated Wisdom acted as more than a most loving mother; more than with a tunic, It clothed him with the unending light of my Will – a garment which is not subject to being either disarranged, or divided, or consumed; a garment which was to serve man in order to preserve the image of his Creator and the gifts received from Him, and which was to render him admirable and holy in all his things.  Not only this, but It covered him with the overgarment of innocence.  And Adam, in Eden, with his passions divided the garments of innocence, and he gambled away the tunic of my Will – a garment which is incomparable and of radiant light.
Vol. 20, Dec 12, 1926

In My Passion I wanted to suffer being stripped in the flagellation and placed nude on the cross, being torn apart in such a horrible way that My bones could even be counted -[I wanted to suffer] all amid the confusion, abandonment, and unspeakable bitternesses.  All of that was nothing other than the fruit of the human volition which had stripped (the creature) of all goods, and with its poisonous breath had covered him with confusion and humiliations to the point of transforming him in a horrible way and making him the object of scorn for all his enemies.
Vol. 21, April 14, 1927

But Jesus wants to cloth us again.  As God calls us to cloth the naked because they are our own flesh so he wants to cloth us.  We are his own flesh.  And he can only do this with the soul who wants to live in his Divine Will being willing to let go of the rags of her human will.

By entering into It[the Divine Will], the soul forms one single act with the Divine Will, and as though naturally she takes part in what It does and contains.  More so, since in order to live in my Will, the soul is first stripped of the garments of the old guilty Adam, and is clothed anew with the garments of the new and holy Adam.  Her garment is the light of the Supreme Will Itself, through which all Its divine manners are communicated to her, which are noble and communicative to all.  This light makes her lose the human features and restores in her the physiognomy of her Creator.
Vol. 19, February 28, 1926

But when Jesus asks us to cloth others he is also asking us to cloth him and as he does for us so are we to do for him.

“My Person is surrounded by all the works that souls do, as by a garment; and the more purity of intention and intensity of love they have, the more splendor they give Me, and I will give them more glory; so much so, that on the Day of Judgment I will show them to the whole world, to let the whole world know how my children have honored Me, and how I honor them.”
Vol. 2, May 7, 1899

But this is not all.  In the Divine Will all the creatures acts become veils, accidents, like in the Eucharist, to cloth, enclose our God so that he might have true life in us.  But life needs to be nourished.  So we ourselves feed him with our loving acts, which are all his acts which we take on as our own and return to him.  These nourish his Divine life in us.  So as he feeds us so we feed him, as he clothes us so we clothe him and as he shelters us in his own home so do we do so for him.  And so we "draw our soul" out to him to feed him.

The Divine Will forms the true and perfect consecration of the Divine Life in the soul.

Continuing in my usual state and being very afflicted because of the privations of Jesus, after many hardships He came, making Himself seen in all of my poor being.  It seemed to me as if I were the garment of Jesus.  Then, breaking the silence, He told me:

“My daughter, you too can form hosts and consecrate them.  Do you see the garment that covers Me in the Sacrament?  These are the accidents of the bread with which the host is formed.  The life which exists in this host is my Body, my Blood and my Divinity.  The attitude which contains this life is my Supreme Will, and this Will carries out the love, the reparation, the immolation, and all the rest that I do in the Sacrament, which never moves one point from my Volition.  There is nothing that comes from Me which is not led by my Volition.

“Here is how you too can form the host.  The host is material and totally human; you too have a material body and a human will.  This body and this will of yours - if you keep them pure, upright and far away from any shadow of sin - are the accidents, the veils, so that I may be able to consecrate Myself and live hidden within you.  But this is not enough; it would be like the host without consecration - my life is needed.  My life is composed of sanctity, of love, of wisdom, of power, etc., but the engine of all is my Will.  Therefore, after you have prepared the host, you must make your will die in this host; you must cook it well, so that it may not be born again.  Then you must let my Will permeate all your being; and my Will, which contains the whole of my life, will form the true and perfect consecration.  So, the human thought will have life no more, but only the thought of my Volition, and this consecration will create my wisdom in your mind; no more life for what is human, for weakness, for inconstancy, because my Will will form the consecration of the Divine Life, of fortitude, of firmness, and of all that I am.  So, each time you make your will, your desires, and all that you are and that you may do, flow into my Will, I will renew the consecration, and I will continue my life within you as in a living host - not a dead one, like the hosts without Me.

“But this is not all.  In the consecrated hosts, in the pyxes, in the Tabernacles, everything is dead - mute; not a heartbeat sensibly, not a surge of love which may correspond to so much love of mine.  If it wasn’t for the fact that I wait for hearts in order to give Myself to them, I would be quite unhappy, I would remain defrauded in my love, and my sacramental life would remain without purpose.  And if I tolerate this in the Tabernacles, I would not tolerate it in living hosts.  So, life needs nourishment, and in the Sacrament I want to be nourished, and I want to be nourished with my own food – that is, the soul will make my Will, my love, my prayers, reparations and sacrifices her own; she will give them to Me as if they were her own things, and I will nourish Myself.  The soul will unite with Me, she will prick up her ears to hear what I am doing so as to do it together with Me; and as she keeps repeating my own acts, she will give Me her food, and I will be happy.  Only in these living hosts will I find the compensation for the loneliness, the starvation, and all that I suffer in the Tabernacles.”
Vol. 11, December 17, 1914

We are not only called to help our neighbor in these acts of feeding the hungry, sheltering the homeless, clothing the naked.  These are only the beginning lessons that God is leading us in.  As in all things everything returns to God and so must our acts.  He calls us to imitate him as he feeds us, clothes us, and brings us into his home.  So that we might in turn, feed him, clothe him and make a life together with him.

“My daughter, the Creation of man was the center where our Divinity centralized all the goods that should rise in the creature, we put in her Divine Life and Divine Will, human life and human will; human life should serve us as residence, and the two Wills fused together should make life in common with highest accord, indeed the human will should take from ours in order to form her acts, and ours should remain in the continuous act to give of his, in order to make that the human will might remain modeled and all informed in the Divine Will.  Now, there is no life, as much human, spiritual and divine, that doesn’t have need of food in order to grow, in order to become stronger, to embellish and to felicitate himself.  More so that we put our Divine life in man, [and] because he was incapable of receiving the whole fullness of our Divine Being, we put in him how much he could contain of our life, giving him the liberty to let him grow how much more he could and wanted.  Hence our life in man for growth had need of food, behold the necessity to put in him a Divine Will; our Divine life would not have adapted himself to foods of the human will.  Behold therefore all the acts of the creature done in virtue of and in our Divine Will, would serve to feed and to make our Divine Life grow in her, in a way that as soon as she went doing her acts in our Fiat, now she took our love and fed us, now she took our fortitude, now our infinite sweetness, now our Divine joys in order to feed us.  What order, what harmony put between him and us in creating man between him and us, even to ask of him our own foods through his means, not because we had need, no, but in order to maintain the enthusiasm of love, the correspondence, the inseparable union between him and us.  And while he occupied himself with us, we occupied ourselves with feeding him and with conserving our dear residence, not only, but making him other more beautiful gifts in order to render him more happy, to love him more and make ourselves more loved.  But do you want to know what are our most beautiful gifts that we make the creature?  To manifest to her a knowledge of our Supreme Being, a truth that pertains to us, one secret of ours is the most beautiful gift that we make her; each of these gifts is one more bond that we put between Her and us, our every truth is a property that we put in her soul.  Behold therefore that in the soul where our Will reigns we find our Divine foods, our property for how much it is possible for a creature, our residence, hence we find ourselves in our house, in our center, in the midst of our properties.  Do you see therefore what it means to make our Will reign and the great good to make you know our truths?  Our every knowledge carries, each one, its distinct gift, some carry his light, some fortitude, some goodness, some wisdom, some love and so on, each one of them binds the creature in a special way to God and God to her.  Therefore know how to correspond to the so many gifts that your Jesus has made you, and you live always in our Volition.”
Vol. 29, Aug 3, 1931

All of this can only happen when one makes a firm decision to turn from one's own human will and asks to live only of His Divine Will.  This is the starting point to switching off the darkness in ourselves and switching on the light of God.

Eyes to See, The Intellect

I've spent some time struggling with this post to organize it and make sense of what I found.  I've found it's hard to explore the topic of the intellect without including the topic of faith.  And faith is intrinsically bound to hope and charity which would be another whole spin off of topics.  Just thinking about faith the questions come up:  What is faith?  How does one receive faith?  Why do some not receive faith?  So I will try to cover what I've found in the Volumes on the intellect in this post without veering off too much from the topic.

I think most people have run up on this passage in the Bible and scratched their heads as I have.  Just as Pharaoh's heart was hardened how is it that God allows some to believe while others are blinded from the truth?

When Jesus had said this, he departed and hid himself from them. 37 Though he had done so many signs before them, yet they did not believe in him; 38 it was that the word spoken by the prophet Isaiah might be fulfilled:
“Lord, who has believed our report,
and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”
39 Therefore they could not believe. For Isaiah again said,
40 “He has blinded their eyes and hardened their heart,
lest they should see with their eyes and perceive with their heart,
and turn for me to heal them.”
41 Isaiah said this because he saw his glory and spoke of him.
John 12:36-41

So why do some people seem to understand and know God while others do not.  The Gospel is known by all to exist but so many don't recognize it as being from God.  How is it that people seem to not have the ability to see clearly with their intellect to know that God exists and understand His truths.  Ultimately it is always Will of God and perhaps not given to us to understand.   "God saves whom He will and reprobates likewise; hence no one merits election; election is not because of antecedent merits or foreseen deeds." http://www.romancatholicism.org/jansenism/augustine-194.htm

However here in the Volumes Jesus does speak of belief being the first step to understanding.  Belief appears to be a choice.

“My daughter, in order to comprehend a subject well it takes belief, because without belief everything is dark in the human intellect.  On the other hand, the mere believing turns on a light in the mind, and by means of this light one can recognize with clarity truth and falsehood, when it is grace that operates, when it is nature, and when the devil.  See, the Gospel is known to all, but who comprehends the meaning of my words, and the truths contained in It?  Who keeps them in his heart and makes of them a treasure with which to purchase the eternal kingdom?  One who believes.  As for all others, not only do they not understand a thing, but they use my words to mock them and to make fun of the holiest things.  So, it can be said that everything is written in the hearts of those who believe, hope and love, while nothing is written for everyone else.  The same with you:  one who has a little bit of belief sees things with clarity and finds the truth; one who does not, sees things as all confused.”
Vol. 4, Jan. 9, 1903

So belief first is necessary in order to understand a subject.  This is referring to the gift of faith and where faith is found so is found hope and charity.  The three are as tightly bound as the memory, intellect and the will but it is faith which acts as the light to the eyes of the intellect.

“In order to obtain, one must believe.  Just as for the head without the sight of the eyes, everything is darkness, everything is confusion, so much so, that if one wanted to walk, he would stumble now at one point, now at another, and would end up falling completely, the same for the soul without Faith – she does nothing but go from precipice to precipice.  But Faith serves as the sight of the soul, and as the light which guides her to eternal life.
Vol. 1,   Jesus prepares Luisa for the renewal in heaven of the Mystical Marriage, with the approval of the Blessed Trinity; so he speaks to her of the three theological virtues.

The intellect of man is endowed by the Son to communicate wisdom and knowledge so that man might come to know and understand God more and thereby come to love Him more.  But with original sin man now uses his intellect to turn away from God to deny God himself.

“Now, as second act, I, Son of God, concurred by endowing man with intellect, communicating to him my wisdom and the knowledge of all things, so that by knowing them, he might enjoy them and delight in what is good.  But, alas, what a bilge of vices is the intelligence of the creature!  He has used knowledge to deny his Creator.
Vol. 14, April 8, 1922

So it seems to me that man without faith turns his intellect in on himself instead of out towards God.  It is this choice that we make.  It is what enchants our eye the most the image of our self or the image of God in whom we were created.  So even further perhaps it is the intrinsic nature within each of us.  But when God finds this character within the creature he then delights in teaching her and drawing her closer to him through his truths.

“My daughter, when I see the character of the purpose of Creation impressed in the soul, feeling satisfied with her because I see so well accomplished the work created by Me, I feel a duty - or rather, not a duty”, He immediately added, “because in Me there are no duties, but my duty is a more intense love to repay her, advancing for her part of the celestial happiness - that is, manifesting to her intellect the knowledge of the Divinity; attracting her with the food of eternal truths; amusing her sight with my beauty, making the sweetness of my voice resound to her hearing; to her mouth, my kisses; to her heart, my embraces and all my tendernesses.  And this corresponds to the purpose for which I created her, which is:  to know Me, to love Me, to serve Me.”
Vol. 5, Oct. 29, 1903

And here we have an insight into this passage in the Bible.

29 For to every one who has will more be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who has not, even what he has will be taken away.
Matthew 25:29

It is in having this character that they then are able to receive and thereby correspond and then receive more.  Where by one who does not even have this character within themselves does not possess the ability to receive.

Now, you must know that as I form my life in the thought of the creature that lives in my Volition, I feel the company of the human intelligence that courts me, and loves me, understands me and gives me its memory, the intellect, the will in my power and since in these three powers was created our image, I feel our eternal memory given to me for company that doesn’t forget anything, I feel the company of my wisdom that understands me, and then the company of the human will fused with mine, that loves me with my eternal love; how not to multiply in every thought of hers as many of our lives, when we find that she understands us and loves us more?  We can say, we find our profit; because how much more life we form so much more we make ourselves understood, we give her double love and she loves us more; if we form our life in the word, we find the company of hers, and since our Fiat is hers, we find all the prodigies that he has worked when our Fiat was pronounced; if we form it in her breath, we find hers that breathes together and the company of our omnipotent breath, when creating we infused life (in) her; if we form it in her motion, we find her hands that embrace us squeezing us strongly, that don’t want to leave us anymore; if we form it in the steps they follow us anywhere.  What beautiful company, one who lives in our Will, there is no peril that they ever leave us alone, we both are inseparable.
Vol. 36,  August 21, 1938

So Luisa wanted to know that if it is through these knowledges on the Divine Will that creatures will come to know God, desire his Will and long for his Kingdom why he didn't allow Adam to know them so that he might pass them on to all the generations to dispose mankind.  Jesus in fact tells her that Adam did know them but in withdrawing from the Divine Will his intellect became obscured and he lacked the ability to pass them on to others.

On hearing this, I said:  ‘My Love, Jesus, if these knowledges on your adorable Will contain so much virtue, why did You not manifest them to Adam, so that, by making them known to posterity, they would have loved and appreciated more a good so great, and this would have disposed the hearts for the time when You, Divine Repairer, would decree to give us this great gift of the Kingdom of the Supreme Fiat?’  And Jesus, resuming His speaking, added:  “My daughter, as long as he remained in the terrestrial Eden, living in the Kingdom of the Supreme Will, Adam knew all the knowledges, as much as it is possible for a creature, of that which belonged to the Kingdom he possessed.  But as soon as he went out of It, his intellect was obscured; he lost the light of his Kingdom, and could not find the fitting words in order to manifest the knowledges he had acquired on the Supreme Will, because that very Divine Volition which would hand to him the necessary terms to manifest to others what he had known, was missing in him.
Vol. 20, Sept. 17, 1926

While in the Kingdom Adam could understand the truths of God but after sinning his intellect became darkened.  So while we remain on earth we must work through the veils that hide the truths and only then will we be able to understand them.

“My daughter, all things down here, both in the supernatural order and in the natural order, are all veiled. Only in Heaven are they unveiled, because in the Celestial Fatherland there are no veils, but things can be seen as they are in themselves. So, up there the intellect does not need to work in order to comprehend them, because of their own they show themselves for what they are; and if there is any work to do in the blessed dwelling – if it can be called work at all – it is that of enjoying and delighting in the things which, unveiled, one sees. On the other hand, down here it is not so. Since the human nature is spirit and body, the veil of the body prevents the soul from seeing my truths; the Sacraments and all other things are veiled. I Myself, Word of the Father, had the veil of my Humanity; all my words, my Gospel, in the form of examples and of similes; and only those who drew near Me to listen to Me with faith in their hearts, with humility and with the will to know the truths that I manifested to them in order to put them into practice, could comprehend Me. By doing this, they tore the veils that hid my truths, and found the good that was in them. Through faith, through humility and by wanting to know my truths, it was a work that they were doing; and with this work they would tear the veil and find my truths as they are in themselves; and therefore they remained bound to Me and to the good that my truths contained. Others, who would not do this work, would touch the veil of my truths, not the fruit that was inside; therefore they remained on an empty stomach, they could not understand anything; and turning their back to Me, they departed from Me.
So are my truths which, with so much love, I have manifested to you about my Divine Will. So that they may shine like unveiled suns, as they are, creatures must do their work, walk the way in order to touch them – which is faith; they must desire to want to know them, and pray, and humble their intellect in order to open it, so as to let the good and the life of my truths enter into them. If they do this, they will tear the veil and will find them, more than refulgent sun; otherwise, they will remain blind, and I will repeat the saying of the Gospel: ‘You have eyes and do not see, ears and do not hear, tongue and are mute.’
See, also in the natural order all things are veiled. Fruits have the veil of the skin. Who enjoys the good of eating them? One who does the work of drawing near the tree, of picking it, of removing the skin that hides the fruit. This one enjoys and makes the desired fruit his food. The fields are veiled by straws. Who takes the good that those straws hide? One who uncovers them of those straws has the good of taking the grain in order to form the bread to make of it his daily food. In sum, all things down here have the veil that covers them, to give to man the work and the will, the love to possess them and enjoy them. Now, my truths surpass natural things by far, and they present themselves to the creature like noble queens, veiled, in the act of giving themselves to them. But they want their work; they want them to draw near them by the steps of their will, in order to know them, possess them and love them – necessary conditions in order to tear the veil that hides them. Once the veil is torn, with their light, of their own they make their way, giving themselves in possession to those who have searched for them.
This is the reason for those who read the truths on my Divine Will and show that they do not comprehend what they read - even more, they are confused: because the true will of wanting to know them is lacking. It can be said that the work in order to know them is lacking; and without work nothing can be acquired, nor do they deserve such a great good. And I, with justice, deny to them that which I abundantly give to the humble and those who yearn for the great good of the light of my truths. My daughter, how many truths of mine, suffocated by those who do not love to know them and do not want to do their little work in order to possess them. I feel that they want to suffocate my very Self, if they could. And I, in my sorrow, am forced to repeat what I said in the Gospel, and I do it in deed: I take away from those who do not have, or who might have a little something of my goods, and I leave them in squalid misery, because, not wanting them and not loving them, these would hold them without esteeming them and without fruit; and I will give more abundantly to those who have, because these will hold them as precious treasures which will bear fruit more and more.”
Fiat!!!
Vol. 28, Aug. 2, 1930

The little work we must do to understand God's truths is spelled out above:  one must have "faith; they must desire to want to know them, and pray, and humble their intellect in order to open it, so as to let the good and the life of my truths enter into them."  Here we see Faith, Hope and Charity in act.  The belief of Faith, the Hope beyond our limited intellect, and the active Love of wanting the good of these truths in act.  But in order for us to possess we must want with the Will of God, in order to want we must hope in God beyond our own limitations and it all begins with the simple but huge leap of faith or the belief in the absence of firm knowledge.  In this way the intellect will understand when it first has the light of faith.

The Fall

I was looking at Mary's blog, http://openingthefloodgatesofmercy.blogspot.com/ where she was talking about her reaction to this line that she heard on the radio.

"Who were you before Satan rained down his blows upon you?"

I was thinking this over and felt that there was a deeper reason even beyond our own personal encounters for which this resonates with people going back to the original fall of man and the inherent loss that we all suffered from that separation from God.

Here it talks about the tremendous fall original sin actually was and how it was a miracle that he didn't die from it.

'I was thinking to myself:  “How is it that Adam, by withdrawing himself from the Divine Will, fell from such heights to such a low place?”  And Jesus, moving in my interior, said to me:

“My daughter, as in the natural order, whoever falls from a high place either dies or remains so broken and deformed that it is impossible for him to regain his original state of health, beauty, and position; he will remain a poor cripple, curved and lame.  And if this person is a father, he will produce a generation of cripples - blind, deformed, and lame.
“Likewise is it in the supernatural order.  Adam fell from a very high place; he had been placed by his Creator at such an elevated point, that it surpassed the limits of the sky, the stars, and the sun.  Living in My Will he lived above everything - in God Himself.  See from where he fell?  Falling from such heights, it is a miracle that he didn’t totally perish.  But if he didn’t die, the blow he received in falling was so strong that it was inevitable that he remain crippled, broken, and deformed in his rare beauty.  He was left with all his goods smashed; [he was] left indolent in his actions, dulled in his intellect, suffering from a fever which weakened him, withered in all the virtues, and he no longer felt the strength to dominate himself.  Man’s most beautiful asset, dominion of self, had vanished, and the passions had taken over to terrorize him, to render him restless and melancholy.  Because he was the father and head of the human generations, he produced a family of cripples.  Many think that not doing My Will is of little importance; instead it is the total ruin of the creature, and for as many acts (as the creature) commits of his own will, by so many times do his evils increase, along with his ruin, and he only continues to dig an abyss ever deeper for him to fall into.”'

But it's not just the shame, confusion and sorrow that man has experienced in the fall but also the sorrow God feels in seeing man stripped from him and living in exile.  Only in man did God receive the unique joy of a creature who could reciprocate with him and return the love he lavished upon him.

“My blessed daughter, as you offered our acts in creating man, and those of innocent Adam, in order to impetrate the kingdom of my Divine Will, thus you have repeated joys that we experienced in creating man, and you have formed new bonds of union between the Divine Will and man, they are our same acts that formed the place where to create man and they administered life to him in order to animate him, thus our same acts will form the way to make him reenter into our Will.  Therefore the offering of our acts are armed with power, that make us decide to give that which the creature asks, more so that they are carriers of joys, but so much so that it put us in feast, and who does not know that in feasts one abounds in giving gifts not ever given?  Now you should know that in not one other thing created by us did we experience such joy as in creating man, but do you know why[?] we gave power to be able to give our heartbeat, our life, our love, if we gave, we gave ourselves, but neither the Sky, nor the Sun, nor the stars, nor the wind nor all the rest had any power to give us anything, therefore the joy of receiving, no, it didn’t exist in the other created things, at most the joy of giving, that (there) not being the exchange, the joy remain isolated and without company.  Instead in creating man we gave him the power of giving us our life, our eternal heartbeat, that beats and gives love, such was our joy to give this power to man, to feel our heartbeat in him and to give our life at his disposition in order to be able to love us with a Divine life, so that man could felicitate us and exchange us with his joys, and joys that can remain equal with ours.  Now in seeing our life in him, in feeling our heartbeat beat in him, we felt such joy that we remained ecstatic before a portent so great as the creation of man, and now offering us these our acts we feel repeated the joys and the sweet memory of his creation.  Therefore repeat your offerings if you want to give us joys and to incline us to give our reigning Will upon the earth.”

Even though in sinning Adam lost the life of the Fiat God did not withdraw his light from him in order to keep him alive.  This gives man the necessary means, support and guidance to work towards the day where he can be reunited with God as he was originally created to be.

"Now, my daughter, the love in Adam before sinning was perfect, total, my Will held his life in a way that he felt Him more than his own life, as he sinned, the life of my Fiat withdrew himself and the light remained (to) him, because He without Him could not live, he would have returned into the nothing.  In creating him we did as a Father that puts his goods and his life itself in common with (his) own child.  Now this disobedience, to rebel (against) one’s own Father, the Father with sorrow is constrained to put him outside of his residence, not letting him possess in common anymore neither his goods, nor his life, but so much is his love that although distant he doesn’t let him lack the necessary things, the means of strict necessity, because he knows that if the Father withdraws himself, the life of the child is finished.  Thus my Divine Will did, he withdrew his Life but left his light, as help, support and as necessary means so that his child might not perish entirely.  Now with withdrawing his Life, all things and works of God remained, veiled for man.  He himself, veiled the intelligence, the memory, the will, he remained as those poor unhappy dying ones, that covering the pupil of the eye with a thin veil, they don’t see clearly anymore the life of the light.  My Divinity itself in descending from Heaven in earth, veiled itself with my Humanity.  Oh!  If creatures might possess as Life my Will, immediately they would have known Me, because He himself would have revealed who I was, my Volition in her and that same Divine Volition in Me they would have immediately known, loved each other, they would have made crowds around Me, nor would they have been able to separate from Me, recognizing me under the likeness of their cast offs as Word Eternal, He who loved them so much, that he had dressed himself as one of them.  So that I would have had no need to manifest myself, my Will residing in them, would have revealed Me, nor would I have been able to hide myself instead I had to tell them who I was, and how many did not believe Me?  Therefore even to such that my Will doesn’t reign in creatures everything is veiled, the Sacraments themselves, that more than (a) new Creation with so much love I left in my Church, are veiled for them, how many surprises, how many beautiful secrets, and marvelous things a veiled pupil impedes (one) from understanding, from seeing, from tasting, more so that this veil is the human volition that forms and impedes her from seeing the things that are in herself.  Whence my Will reigning in creatures as life will take away this veil and all things will be revealed, and then they will see the caresses that we make them through means of created things, the kisses, the loving embraces, in every single created thing they will feel our ardent heartbeat that loves them, they will see in the Sacraments our Life flow, in order to give itself continually to them and they will feel the need of giving themselves to Us.  This will be the great prodigy that my Divine Will will do, to break all the veils, to abound with unheard of graces, to take possession of souls as proper life, in a way that no one will be able to resist him and thus he will have his kingdom upon the earth.”
Vol. 33, Nov. 24, 1935

God has already made us his solemn promise in the Our Father that His Kingdom will come and reign again.  Done deal.  But even before this kingdom becomes manifest upon the earth we have the chance to begin anew the games of love with God and return to him all the lost joys that were found in the creation of man.  And what do you think this means to God, it means the triumph of his love, of his infinite patience with man, of his heights of wisdom and of his Most Holy Will.

“My daughter, in his state of innocence, possessing the life of my Divine Will, Adam possessed the universal life and virtue. Therefore, I found the love of everything and of everyone centralized in his love and in his acts, and all the acts were unified together – not even my works were excluded from his act. I found everything in the works of Adam; I found all the shades of beauties, fullness of love, unreachable and admirable mastery, and then, everything and everyone.
Now, one who lives in my Will rises into the act of innocent Adam, and making the universal life and virtue her own, she makes his act her own. Not only this, but she rises into the acts of the Queen of Heaven, in those of her very Creator, and flowing in all the acts, she centralizes herself in them and says: ‘Everything is mine, and I give everything to my God. Just as His Divine Will is mine, so everything is mine – everything that came out of It. Having nothing of my own, with Its Fiat I have everything, and I can give God to God. Oh, how happy, glorious, victorious I feel in the eternal Volition! I possess everything and I can give everything, without exhausting anything of my immense riches.’ So, there is no act, either in Heaven or on earth, in which I do not find one who lives in my Will.”

Even though our senses have been veiled from original sin and our memory and intellect dulled I don't think there is anyone out there that doesn't on some level cry out in themselves that there should be more.  There should be something better.  I believe it is on this level that the phase; "Who were you before Satan rained down his blows upon you?" holds such a deep resonace with us.  It echos our own cry to return to the order, the place the purpose for which we were created by God.
